Schmidt Bulk Blasting Systems

All bulk units are standard with the popular Halok closure unit (a safety device by Axxiom to protect personnel while operating the closure), Ergo-Ladder and CEN blowdown system.  These high productivity blasting systems feature multi-outlet Thompson Valve II controls that allow each operator independent control of the blast outlets. Hi-Flow Auto Air valves are also standard which provide minimal pressure loss when using large nozzles.

Schmidt MVII Valve

The MV2 raises the standard set by the MicroValve by providing the operator with a reliable state-of-the-art abrasive metering valve that is both easier to use and maintain. Less frequent and easier maintenance translates into significant operator savings for any air blast job.

Schmidt Thompson Valve II

The TVII is a normally closed, self-sealing, abrasive metering valve with instant, smooth response to either pneumatic or electric deadman controls. This fail-safe valve shuts off abrasive flow to the nozzle and seals the tank at the same moment. The clean-out feature provides a quick and easy way to clear an obstruction from the metering sleeve. The TVII is ideal for multiple outlet units and is easily adaptable to most existing blasting system

Schmidt Micro Valve

The MicroValve gives you total control of the quantity of abrasive media used, whether it's lightweight plastic or heavy steel grit. Its infinite metering capability increases blast production and effectively controls media consumption. Use the MicroValve with your pinch valves instead of flat sand valves or donut valves, and see the improved performance. The MicroValve is easily retrofitted to most brands of blasting equipment.

Schmidt Thompson Valve

The original Thompson Valve is a normally closed, self-sealing, abrasive metering valve known for its instant, smooth response to either pneumatic or electric deadman controls. This fail-safe valve shuts off abrasive flow to the nozzle and seals the tank at the same time. A remote abrasive cutoff is available, allowing the operator to stop the flow of media while continuing a constant flow of air. This provides a quick and easy way to clear the blast hose and blasting are of abrasive.

Schmidt Combo Valve

The ComboValve is normally closed, self-sealing, and fail-safe valve that combines the functions of the air inlet valve and blowdown valve. This eliminates premature failure of the blowdown system. It is controlled with either pneumatic or electric remote controls. When the deadman control is pressed, the valve’s unitized piston assembly instantly shifts, opening the air inlet and pinching the blowdown hose closed, starting the blasting operation. None of the usual wear or failures found in other blowdown systems can occur with a ComboValve.

Schmidt Auto Air Valve

Schmidt Automatic Air Valves (AAV) provide you with reliable functions that are available in multiple sizes. Normally open and normally closed valves for virtually any system.

Schmidt G2 Pneumatic

The G2 pneumatic deadman has all the features and benefits that an operator has been looking for. The handle provides an increased response time of more than 30% of our other handles. Its redesigned air flow characteristics add air efficiency that improves signal times on blast hoses that are longer than 100 feet. To simplify the connection to the twin line, the G2 pneumatic deadman control has an arrow indicating the correct port fitting for air supply connection and is also fitted with different size fittings to prevent the twin line and control from being disassembled.

Schmidt G2E Electric

With the look and features you trust with the G2 pneumatic deadman, the G2E is genuinely the best electric deadman in the industry. Improved sealing of switch and internals with a more rugged, durable cord design, a longer lever, and larger button make this valve the perfect balance of comfort and safety. As before, the operator has the option to configure the valve for right or left-handed usage. The strategic hinge pin location minimizes debris collection, and the longer lever equates to a 70% decrease in pressure needed for activation.

Schmidt Portable Blast Equipment

Either available in packages or individually, the low maintenance design of this machine will help minimize downtime and while increasing productivity. If needed, custom systems can be designed to meet specific requirements with a multitude of options; these units usually feature closed, fail-safe valves and controls for greater safety and performance.

Clemco Wetblast FLEX

Clemco's all-in-one WETBLAST FLEXTM system gives you the convenience you don't get from traditional slurry systems. Its design and simplified setup and operation make for an easier end-of-shift shutdown. By mixing the abrasive and water after it leaves the blast machine, you never have to empty a machine of a messy water/abrasive mix. All-In-One Wetblast System
